Plan Now to Support Young People on May 6th!

FYI Has a Chance to Win $5000 Plus!

Beginning Midnight Tuesday May 6th, FYI will be part of 24 hour hour ONLINE donation marathon!! It will be one of the biggest giving days in St. Louis history!

The Ferguson Youth Initiative (FYI) will join other local not-for-profits in giveSTLday, a national 24-hour giving event with local impact.

Donations from $5 up can be donated to FYI by going to and clicking on the FYI page. All donations are tax-deductible, after you give your donation a receipt and thank you note will be sent to you for your records. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to see our progress! FYI can win an additional $5000 by having the most gifts for the day. In addition, if one of our donor’s names is pulled during the “power hour” FYI might get an additional $10,000!!! There are also smaller drawings throughout the day, which will provide an additional $500!

This money will help us host more programs like the “Spot 394”, an event for 13-18 years old youth, “Open Arts”, which provides an opportunity for teens to be creative and showcase their talents in front of their peers and families; “ 2nd Saturday” which is an open and collaborative space where youth can express their ideas and tell their own stories through personal expression in the arts; the “Earn-A-Bike” program for 8-18 years old youth; and the Ferguson Community Service Program (FCSP), a service learning program for older teens.

You don’t have to be near a computer, you can use your smart phone to donate to FYI! Please contact your friends and associates to help us reach a minimum goal of $10,000 for that day!
