Desmari Eimann (FYAB Member) – “My participation as a member of the FYI has meant a lot to me. As an International student, I have learned about Ferguson and its youth. To me, it was a new culture and new ways of keeping the youth socially engaged with a purpose.  I think it is amazing that the FYI arranges events such as Spot 394 for the youth of Ferguson.  The turn out of youth at this event showed that it was favored and that the youth liked to participate during the event. The FYI participating group was great. I have enjoyed meeting new friends and participating in volunteer activities such as Ferguson Dining out, and working on the Farmers Market. The Earn ‘n Bike program, Candle making, and Art and recycling project to decorate the Firehouse Room were indeed my highlights.  Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to be engaged in civic affairs and especially to be part of FYI.”

Tom Hill (St. Louis BWorks Program Lead) – “On behalf of St. Louis BWorks, I wholly support Ferguson Youth Initiative’s mission and activities. At BWorks, our goal is to provide young people throughout all of St. Louis with opportunities and resources to define their life and be what they want to be. FYI does just this, fine tuned to the Ferguson community.”

Annaly Eimann (FYAB Parent) – “Congratulations to great leadership of FYI who has kept the youth informed and engaged in programs suitable for the target group. I liked your prompt and proactive communication style, and could benefit from new ideas on how to keep the youth engage in a positive way, using social media and the things they like doing. Keep up the good work for the young people of Ferguson. ”
