Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Every Friday except the 1st Friday of the month – Art Expression from 4 to 6 pm at FYI Youth Lounge
- Saturday, February 28th – volunteer opportunity to help beautify the area at Whistle Stop, 9am to 11am (they will buy lunch for anyone who stays till 11). Dress warmly in layers!!
- Friday, March 6th – Open Arts from 6 – 9 pm
- Saturday, March 7th – FYAB Meeting
- Thursday, March 26th – FYI Works in the FYI Backbay and Youth Lounge * 6 – 9 pm

FYI Works – Last Thursday of the Month from 6-9 pm in the FYI Backbay & Youth Lounge
Volunteer to obtain service hours or FYI Teen Activity Card points. Come help with crafts (such as candles, Ferrariums, lamps, the color swatch pictures, collages) or come to help fix up the FYI Backbay and Youth Lounge (painting, small building projects, maintenance, etc) Come for a short time or stay for the entire time … pizza and soda provided.
Volunteer to Beautify/Clean-Up a Yard – Volunteers are needed to clean-up a yard between the hours of 8:30 am and 2 pm on various Saturdays. Your volunteer effort helps Ferguson continue to look beautiful, helps support FYI, and helps earn you points towards a Ferguson Park & Recreation Teen trip as part of the Teen Activity Card Program. Ferguson Community Gardens & Ferguson Farmer’s Market
There are several opportunities to volunteer this spring and summer with area community gardens as well as the Ferguson Farmers Market. Whether you are looking to get your hands dirty digging in the soil, grabbing a strawberry while pulling weeds or chatting up the developments on social media … Whatever your talent is, there is a place for you to volunteer!
Ferguson is the home of nine (9) different neighborhood associations. From time to time, they could use volunteers to help with community activities. Your services can be used in many different ways and this is a great opportunity for you to meet and interact with your neighbors.
Ferguson Volunteer Flower Club
This club beautifies the flower beds at Victorian Plaza and at the Ferguson Library. They meet every Thursday at 6 pm between the months of May and October. Please email Marveena, email@example.com, if you are interested in helping beautify Ferguson.
