Through its continued partnership with SSM Healthcare, and the addition of a new partner — HY-C, FYI continues its mission to #SupportYoungPeople through Next Steps. This program helps to put youth on the path toward gaining transferable job skills, and a greater potential to secure gainful employment through a 6-week series of workshops which emphasizes goal-setting, résumé-building, interviewing skills, financial literacy and the development of an elevator pitch to use when introducing oneself to potential employers.
Shoe Carnival will teach classes, conduct mock interviews, and offer job opportunities to youth who participate in the Next Steps program. Next Steps is for ages 15 – 19.
