Ferguson Youth Advisory Board (FYAB)

The Ferguson Youth Advisory Board (FYAB) is a team of 10 young leaders working directly with the Ferguson City Council. FYAB members serve as the official youth voice of the community—planning local events, advising civic leaders, and driving positive change across the city.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for a seat on the board, candidates must be:
- A Ferguson Resident: Living within Ferguson city limits.
- School District Eligible: Eligible to attend the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
- Grade Level: Enrolled in 8th through 12th grade.
Meeting Details
- Frequency: Monthly meetings.
- Format: Hybrid (options to attend in person or online via Zoom).
